PARK-GATED OUTPUT
The output is allowed only while the vehicle’s gear selector reports Park. Move out of Park and the circuit opens immediately; return to Park with the switch still on and the lights come straight back. There is no reset button, no timer and no sequence for the crew to learn. The interlock simply follows the vehicle.
READS THE VEHICLE, NOT THE WIRING
Gear position is taken directly from the vehicle’s CAN bus rather than spliced from a lamp feed or a reversing circuit. Nothing is cut, tapped or back-probed, so the installation leaves the original loom intact and the vehicle’s own diagnostics see no change.
